The bride’s flowing gown swayed gently in the small summer breeze, wildflower bouquets and natural, understated makeup that enhanced her radiant glow, gave us a mellow, relaxed vibe. Guests could lounge comfortably on vintage rugs and cushions, enjoying the serene ambience and the authentic, heartfelt moments unfolding throughout the day.
we were lucky when the heat of the day and the sun dips below the horizon, the tipi transforms into a cosy haven illuminated by candles and lanterns, creating an enchanting atmosphere for dancing and celebration. The church was a big hit and the location was so beautiful - - the 1000 year old church sets the scene for the taking of the marriage vows and I personally love a two location wedding. A church service is very special and entering a church, steeped in history seems to add such a spiritual dimension to the day - regadless I feel of your spiritual or religious leanings. The opportunity to drive from Church to reception venue as well adds to the excitement of the whole celebration…. I always feel its a bit like the Whacky races going from A to b and get so excited to follow up the loveley confetti shots outside the church (which i LOVE) and then of to the PARTY!!, Whoop, whoop!! The wedding car was Aunties 2 CV - in immaculate condition and a firm family favourite over the last two decades and that is just pure fun to me!
The entrance to the field was a small work of genius as the couple arrived after all the guests and certainly made an entrance - to be greeted by the waiters at jacaranda catering with some gorgeous Aperol Spritz, ( Just thinking about this wedding makes me want to do it all over again!!).
