CHICHESTER WEDDING - FUNTINGTON POLE TENT MARQUEE & ST MARY’S CHURCH
A super summer Marquee wedding for Tom and Chelsea in Funtington , Chichester
A beautiful set up for my couple as they managed to erect the tent in the field at the bottom of the garden and then they strolled accross to the church opposite the field - What a unique set up…. No need for a Special car - However we did have some amazing transport. The bridal car was a family heirloom. the little car belonged to Chelsea’s Grandad and he passed it on to her brother. he had had it from new and it was always the family car, He had it for over 50 years - so that was a wonderful way to arrive at St Mary’s Church from the bridal preparation in Cowdray. The other unusual transport was the “pigmobile” - Scroll through the pictures and that will all make sense…… Another family tradition whereby the Bride and Groom are transported by large pram like carriage from the church….. So wonderful. I loved seeing that because I love little details that are quircky and different. I did slightly fear for their safety , however the Men in charge of the driving were strong and dependable and , just to watch the laughter on the procession that followed was wonderful,
